The Latvian Devil has occupied Mount Fuji in Japan! He is creating Latvian culture and forcing it upon Japanese villages, thus trying to mark the borders of a country that does not yet exist. When his spell turns all the people in one of the villages into Latvian writer Rainis, an ambitious Samurai is sent to fight for Japan. The colourful and skilful animated film is like a grain of conceptualism that brings forth magical fantasy characters.
